Student Life

Outside the classroom, Sophia students usually join at least one of the hundreds of extra-curricular organizations on campus. Clubs and circles offer opportunities to join with other students who share a common interest in everything from sports, to music, volunteer activities, cultural performances, etc. The Global Network, established by students interested in exchange between international and Japanese students, sponsors lunch-time discussions, home visits and cultural activities. Also, Sophia students take advantage of the rich cultural offerings of the city of Tokyo. Most major museums, sports and cultural venues are within easy commuting distance from our campus.
